MINISTER DENIES TRADING RUMODR
Wlien the House of Representatives resumed yesterday afternoon the Budget debate was continued. With one exception, speeches were delivered by Government members, Mr R. A. Wright (Independent) making an interesting contribution, in which be subjected the Government’s policy to searching scrutiny. The Minister of Industries and Commerce (Hon. D. G. Sullivan), in the course of a lengthy address, denied a rumour that the Government was considering entering the chain store business or taking control of chemists if they did not put their house in order.
