MARTON, Oct. 18. The following was the result of the 9j mile road race run by tho Marton harriers on Saturday: F. Hill 1, A. Pemberthy 2, D. Smith 3, J. Taylor 4, W. Edge 5, J. Carr 6, G. Hallam 7. The details of the Ynnkoc tourney played by the Marton Badminton Club are as follow: H. M. Purser and Miss E. Shorriff (3) 63 points, 1; D. E. Fair and Miss Suisted (scr), 58 points, 2. Other scores were: K. Atkinson and Miss P. Shcrriff 53, Miss B. Cochran and Miss E. Dunealf 52, F. Harper and Miss Wilkinson 52, M. Atkinson and Mrs Church 45, N. Ingle and Miss Barton 45.
