(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Oct. 19. Members of the Rangitikei Defence Rifle Club • had to contend with a changeable south-east wind on the open range on Saturday, but. some good scores were registered, two men reaching the century, and three gaining single possibles. Scores at 300, 500, and 600yds and totals aro ns follow W. J. Jenkins, 35 —33 —33 —101; D. I>. Thorby, 33—35—32—100; W. A. Stevenson, 32—34—32—98; 11. Meads, 35-30-29 94; F. Simpson, 30-35-29-92; R. B. McKenzie; 34 —31—65; L. Huddleston, 31 —32 —63; Ron. While, 29-33—62. Mr N. 11. Amor, of Bulls, was warmly congratulated by club members and friends on winning the Wanganui provincial golf championship at Belmont on Saturday, arid during the week-end he added another championship, beating G. Drew in the final of the Rangitikei Club championship. Amon,played very steady golf, being 7 up at the end of 18 holes, and winning on the 27t.h, 10 up and 9 to play. Drew was off his . game, but Amon is in such fine form at . present "that no local player is likely to defeat him,
