(From Our Own Correspondent.) BEACONSFIELD, Oct. 19. On Saturday in beautiful weather tho last golf match for the Bennett Cup took place. Over the season M. McLean by very consistent golf camo out the winner by 2 points from E. Buchanan. Tho following were the best cards handed in: T. Callus and J. Old 1 down, O. Kelly 2 down, M. McLoan 3 down, E. Buchanan 4 down, J. Stewart, J. Wither and F. Arrow 5 down. The following aro tho total points gained by tho first seven competitors : M. McLean. 31, E. Buchanan 29, T. Callus 26, G. Coggin 20, O. Kelly 18, J. Wither 17, J. Stewart 13. The follow- | ing wore the best cards handed in for tho I last week-end competition:—,l. Wither 1 down, E. Buchanan and F. Arrow 2 down, T. Callus 3 down, M. McLean and G. Coggin 4 down. The following' aro the total points gained by the first seven competitors:—l4. Buchanan 27, T. Callus 25, i\f. McLean 23, F. Arrow 19, ,f. Stewart 18, (.), Kelly 15, G. Coggin 13. The match play on handicap competition was advanced a further stage when F. Arrow beat G. Coggin in tho bottom half semifinal and ho will meat J. Stewart in the i final. During tho week-end tho final of 1 the junior 'championship was played, resulting in a win for IS; Buchanan after a hard tussle with T. Callus. Over the first nine holes they finished all square and at the end of the first round E. Buchanan I was 1 up. At the 27th hole E. Buchanan J was still 1 up, hut Callus squared tho match at the 30th. From the 31st hole Buchanan took command to win the match, and the junior championship by 4 up and 2 to play. The following is the draw for a Stnbleford bogey competition on Saturday: J. Stewart and F. Arrow, J. Wither anti M. McLean, E. Buchanan and ,J. Old, G. Coggin and T. Callus, D. Old and O. Kelly, It. Stuart and C. Williamson, D. Williamson, M. Old. Following is tlio draw for the week-end Stableford bogey competition:—.!. Stewart and J. Old, G. Coggin and D. Old, E. Buchanan and C. Williamson, T. Callus and M. McLean, J. Wither and R. Stuart, F. Arrow and 0. Kelly, M. Old and D. Williamson. Che ladies are holding a sealed holes competition to be played on Saturday. The fol lowing is the draw: —Miss E. Green and Miss T. Williamson, Miss M. Lodge and Mrs ,T. Wither, Mrs H. Brookcr and Mrs C. Williamson, Mrs Mills and 'Mrs J. Stewart, Mrs R. Stuart and Mrs O. Kelly, Mrs D. Old and Miss N. Whitehead.
