LAWN TENNIS

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 31. It was stated at the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association’s annual meeting to-night that there would be no overseas visits to New Zealand this season., The management committee was recommended to invito Stedman and Malfroy to New Zealand to play in tournaments and to send back to England with them two Resident New Zealanders towards the Davis Cup team. Mr Percy Harrison, of Auckland, was elected president of the association for 1937-38.
