DETACHMENT FOR SHANGHAI
SAN DIEGO, Aug. 29. There was a. scene reminiscent of the World War when 1300 "United States Marines embarked for Shanghai on the transport Chaumpnt and the cruiser Marblehead. A hand played “Tipperary” and “Over There,’ and thousands of spectators on the pier cheered and 6ang. The ships are to refuel at Honolulu, and expect to arrive in China on September 21.
