ALBERTA REGIME.

MU ABERHART DEFIANT. Received August 31, 12.35 p.m. EDMONTON, Aug. 30. The Premier of Alberta (Mr YV. Aberhart) in a letter to Air Alackenzie King, Premier of Canada, declares that Alberta is-determined to put into operation the disallowed Bank Act. Addressing a picnic, Mr Aberhart stated that Ottawa would have other Acts to disallow after a special session of the Legislature. The gathering adopted a resolution urging Ottawa to rescind its disallowance. An Ottawa message says Cabinet will consider Mr Aberhart’s defiance on Wednesday.
