SUCCESSFUL SEASON.

The last season had been a good one for milk production, the climatic conditions in the autumn and well on into the winter having maintained the supply and held tho stock in good condition for the winter, stated the twenty-second annual report presented at the annual meeting of the shareholders of the To Horo Co-operative Dairy Company. Mr IC. Spiors, chairman of directors, presided over an attcndanco of about 30 suppliers. The report showed that an even rate o,f lid a pound for buttorfat had been maintained throughout the-' season, and a bonus of 2Jd a lb of buttorfat now available would make tho aggregate payment for the season Is ljd a pound. Thp total cheese output was 405 tons 19cwt 121 b, of which 52 tons Bcwt 3qrs 141 b had been sold locally. The choose quality had been well maintained throughout the season, giving evidence of tho skill of the manager, Mr W. Kirkcr, and his staff. The suppliers wore also to bo congratulated on the improved quality of the milk supplied during the season. Operating charges, including repairs and depreciation, up to f.0.b., totalled 3.049 d a pound of buttorfat for cheese. Under the heading of manufacture, tho charges aggregated £3212 19s lid. Sales of factory products realised £26,216 15s 3d.

The report and financial statement wore adopted. Four nominations were made in the ballot for two vacancies in the directorate, one of which had occurred through the removal from tho district of Mr S. H, Signal, the former chairman, and tho other through the automatic retirement of Mill. B. Lethbridge, who offered himself for re-election. Milssrs Lethbridge and W. ,T. Barber wore elected.
