Sixteen players participated in a snooker tourney conducted last week by the Palmerston North branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association. The highest scratch score (81) was made bv Mr M. J. Marvin. Mr J. Ewart came first with Mr H. Drinkwa.ter second and Mr J. W. Rutherfurd The weekly euchre competition, in which there were 36 players resulted in a win for Mr D. Pritchard with Mr J. Sandman second and Mr &. Procter third.
