LEGLESS SWIMMER.

Received August 28, 9.40 a.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 27. A Poughkeepsie message states that the legless swimmer, Charles Zimmy, passed the half-way mark in his swim from Albany to New York, after battling with heavy tides. In a message to the President he said: “I salute you from the waters of the Hudson.”
