RACING BROADCASTS.
RESTRICTION IN NEW SOUTH WALES.
SYDNEY, Aug. 26. By a majority of three to two the High Court upheld the decision of Mr Justice Nicholson in refusing to grant an injunction against the broadcast of race descrintions from the Victoria Park 'racecourse.
The Chief Justice, Sir John Latham, said he considered there had been no nuisance and no breach of copyright. He said the law could not, by an injunction, in effect erect fences which the club was not prepared to provide.
