All- J. Tyler, said that nearly all of 14 investigators districts had been covered in the survey and the office work had been completed for five of these. He estimated that the whole of the field and clerical work for the defined area would be completed in about a month’s time. . .. , In view of the conditions which had been revealed, he suggested that tho defined area should bo extended. In selecting the extended localities consideration bad been given to nearness to the main lines of communication, as i+ was in these areas that overcrowding was most likely to be found.
