(From Our Own Correspondent.l TANGIMOANA, July 23. The Tangimoana golf course presents an attractive appearanoo just . now and the number of playore have considerably increased. Among players this morning were Mr and Mrs Hunter, of Marton; Mrs M. Goodwin, of Palmerston North; and Mr and Mrs Waldegrave, cf Tangimoana. Mrs F. Mercer, of Napier, is. here or, a health recuperating trip and is staying with her mother, Mrs G. Akop. Mrs J. S. Stuart leaves on Saturday to take up a relieving position at the Brunswick School Visitors dining the pa6t week include Miss Yvonne Munn, who is staying with Mrs Birkinshaw; Airs R. Sinclair and family, of Bunnythorpc; Mrs Wildbore and family, of Fcilding; Mrs Hooper and family, of Bunnythorpc; also Mrs J. V. Kyle and family, of Palmerston North. Mrs Houghton and Miss Houghton have rcturnc.r from New Plymouth. Mrs T. 15. Devine is visiting Waipukurau. Miss M. W. Quirke is in Wellington attending the Teachers Conference. The second euchre party at the school was again well attended. r lhe prizes were won by Mrs Birkinshaw and Miss B. Butters (ladies) and the men’s prizes went to Mr A. Car keck and Mr E. Spry.
