Per Press Association.
WELLINGTON, July 23.
The Wellington district council of the Alliance of Labour this week carried a resolution dissolving the council. The action was taken because of the formation of the Federation of Labour, which will take over the duties of the national council of the Alliance of Labour and the Trades and Labour Council, which in turn will dissolve and hand over to the Federation of Labour. The opinion was expressed that Mr A. W. Croskery. national secretary, had done much to' bring about the understanding arrived at by the Alliance of Labour and tbe trades councils wljen the federation was formed, and a vote of thanks and appreciation was carried.
