AWAHURI, July 21. Af the weekly shoot oi tho Awahuri Miniature Rifle Club the following scores were recorded: —W. Odgers 135, J. Milligan 134, H. Mathews 127, A. Matthews 129, R Matthews 134, K. Matthews 133, 11. Salt 108, R. Moore 128, 1,. Oko 122, G. Bcrendt 135, I l ’. Cribb 132, M. Cocker 122, L. McKinhon 126, J. Lucas 127, M. Cook 103, Brownlie 127, B. Brownlie 132, J. Thomson 97, A. Thomson 109, V. Nix 121, L. Morris 104, T. O’Regan 110. The winners of tho various grades were.: A grade, W. Odgers; B grade, G. Bennett; C grade, J. Lucas and E. Brownlie (equal). Mr and Mrs J. Coulter, of Dunedin, are visiting Mrs Coulter. The friends of Mr H. Matthews will regret t-o learn that his brother, Mr E. Matthews, is very ill. Mr W. Weightman. who has been in hospital, is making a good recovery. Mrs W. Vincent, (formerly Miss Laura Lucas) has been compelled to enter the Palmerston s North Hospital. Mr and Mrs C-olq snent their vacation in Hawke’s Bay. Miss N. Giles is on holiday.
