“MY LIFE IN FEILDING.”

TALK TO CIVIC CLUB. To-day’s meeting of the Civic Club in Feilding was presided over by the new president, Mr Purcell. The speaker was the vice-president, Mr 'J'. L. Mills, and his topic was “Mv Life in Feilding.”' In September next Mr Mills will have spent 30 years in Feilding. His talk was more anecdotal than historical, and in the main his stories had to do with his experiences as editor of the Star during the 28} years lie was in its chair. There were diverting episodes and personal points that gave a relish to the address.
