FRENCH MURDER CASE.
VIMY RIDGE MYSTERY. Received July 17. 1.25 p.m. PARIS. July 16. The police are engaged in a murder hunt at Viniv Ridge after the discovery of the body' of pretty Rachel Renard, aged 16, who sold postcards on the battlefields to visitors. Her body was found in a shell hole beneath the rusted barbed wire of the old Canadian trenches in the shadow of Vimy Ridge. She had suffered stab wounds in the chest. Jealousy is believed to hnve been the motive.
