JAPANESE WHALERS
“UNJUST ALLEGATIONS.” TOKIO, July 14. Tho Bureau of Fisheries told the Associated Press that references to unrestricted Japanese whaling were unjust, as whalers were prohibited from taking calves, mothers with calves, and whales below specified lengths, the penalty being a reduction of the bonus. Moreover, the companies were alive to the folly of endangering their source of profits.
