QUEENSLAND NATIONAL BANK.

DIVIDEND MAY BE RAISED. SYDNEY, July 15. It was unofficially stated on the Stock Exchange to-day that the Queensland National Bank is raising its dividend from 4 to 4j per cent., bringing it into lino with the Bank of Adelaide for its latest financial year ended March 31. 1937. The Queensland National Bank paid an interim dividend of 2 per cent, on February 13. The distribution for several years has been at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum. The Bank of Adelaide paid 4z per cent, for the last financial year.
