DAIRY SALE.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. Palmerston North, report having hold at the Feilding saleyards on Wednesday a complete disposal sale of the dairy herd on account of the Eriata Nopera Estate, Wanstoad, Waipukurau, comprising 12G dairy cows and 40 yearling and 2-year heifers. The cows, although in light condition, sold readily to a representative bench of buyers from the Manawatu district, and we have to report a highly satisfactory sale at prices fully current. The herd aver aged £7 10s. We quote: Cows, due July and August, £8 to £11; due September, £6 to £9: later calvers, £5 to £7; springing heifers, £4. £4 2s 6d, £4 15s; yea! ling Jersey heifers, £2 2s 6d to £3; Jersey bulls’ aged, 4£gns., cows in milk, £4 to £6.
