TECHNICAL SCHOOL.

When the Palmerston North Technical School Rugby fifteen and lxisketba.ll teams played the Masterton Technical school teams at Masterton yesterday, they won the basketball match by 9 goals to 5. The football match, however, was won by Masterton by 12 points to 3. The basketball w.as well contested, both sides showing a good knowledge of the tactics of defence. In the Rugby match the hacks on both sides. distinEuiuhed themselves in their passing. The Palmerston North defence was not, however, up to its usual standard.
