PINNED UNDER CAR.

FARMER FOUND DEAD. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, July 15. The body of Leonard Harold Floyd, farmer, aged 40, of Moawhango, Tnihape, was found pinned under a car in a swamp at the roadside about a mile from his home this morning. The vehicle was found lying in three feet of water and a watch on Mr Floyd’s arm which had stopped at 8.20 o’clock probably indicates the times the accident occurred. He was last seen leaving Taihape for home at 7 o’clock yesterday. Mr Floyd was a married man with two young sons and was a returned soldier, having been badly gassed in the war.
