COLD AND CHANGEABLE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 8. An intense anticyclone extends from south-eastern Australia on to southern New Zealand, but conditions are still disturbed to the north. Forecast: Moderate to strong southeasterly winds, decreasing gradually. Weather cold and changeable with passing showers, more especially east ot the ranges, improving to-morrow. Seas rough but moderating to-morrow.
