JOURNEY IN “IRON LUNG.”
DEPARTURE FROM SHANGHAI. Received June 7, 11.55 a.m. LONDON, June 6. 'The Shanghai correspondent of the Times says that Mr Frederick Suite, the son of a Chicago millionaire, who is suffering from infantile paralysis and who must live in an iron respirator has sailed for America. TVhen lie was transferred -from the tender to the ship it was necessary to remove him from the iron lung for 3J minutes, during which time he was kept alive by a hand-worked respiratory machine.
