Fifty cows on two acres! It seems astonishing, but this is the actual acreage of a farm a few miles out of Shanghai, where a Russian family named Jookotf, run a dairy herd of 50 Jerseys and Friesians. The Jerseys were specially imported from Australia, and the Friesians from Japan. A member of (he faihily arrived in Australia, recently to undergo a course in dairying at Ilawkesbury Agricultural College.,
