IMSBOVING TO-MORROW
Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON. June 5. Yesterday's depression has now passed eastwards of the Dominion and pressures have risen somewhat. A slight secondary depression is, however, crossing the South Island this morning. Forecast: Moderate to strong south-west to southerly winds, reaching gale force in exposed positions but decreasing to-inorrow. AVeather : Cold, changeable and squally with occasional showers and possibly hail, but improving to-morrow. Seas rough. RIVER GAUGE AT PALMERSTON NORTH. Noon.—2ft. 9ins.
