NOTES.
The Mayor (Mr T. Collins) advises that the Feeding Aero Club’s new hangar at Taonui is nearing completion and will be finished this wn>k. The dimensions of the building, wh ; ch is of corrugated iron, are as follow: Length, 65ft; w ; dth, 40ft; height, 12ft. Dressing rooms, reading rooms, etc., are provided at the side of the main room, and it is felt that the building will meet the requirements of the club for some time to come.
The Feilding Miniature Rifle Club’s two teams were successful in a match fired against the Bunnythorpe Club on Fr'day evening. The shoot took place at Bunnythorpe. The A team’s aggregate was 1052, as against 1050; and the Feilding B team had a decisive victory.
On Saturday afternoon, a car met with a mishap when it backed into a verandah post in front of a shoe store and narrowly avoided smashing into the plate glass window. The verandah post was broken and the car slightly damaged. . To-morrow evening, in the Technical School Fcilding, Mr P. Martin-Smith organiser of the W.E.A. movement in the | Manawatu, will give a lecture, his subject being “The International Situation, Mombers and intending members of the I'cilding branch are invited to attend.
