MR J. McKENDREY.

FUNERAL AT WESTPORT. Ter Press Association. WESTPORT, May 30. A life-long association with fire brigades on the West Coast was responsible fon a large attendance of brigadesmen at the funeral to-day of Mr J. McKendrey. Eighty brigadesmen were present, six representing Knmara. Reefton, Denniston, Greymoutli, Granity and Westport as pall-bearers. The Municipal Band led the cortege and all local bodies and the fire board were represented. .
