HAUL IN JEWELLERY.

BURGLARS AND CORONATION

Although jewellery worth £10,000,000 was displayed at AA’estminster Abbey, not even a paste shoebuckle was lost in the rush and crush after the ceremony, but during the Coronation celebrations at remote Gwernyfed Park, in Brecon, jewellery valued at £13,000 was stolen. Gwernyfed Park belongs to Mr Guy AVilliam John Farquhar. Mrs Farquhar said that the jewels must have been stolen while she wa.s present at celebrations in the grounds. The jewels were left in a cupboard in her dressing-room.
