BRITAIN AND AMERICA. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBI', April 28. The United States Ambassador to London (Mr It. W. Bingham) again emphasised in a speech the joint concern of the British and American peoples'in preserving peace. Peoples of both the United States and the British Commonwealth valued beyond price their heritage of justice, liberty and freedom under law, and these things bound them together. He recalled the recent wcV.s of President Roosevelt which, he said, could not be too often emphasised —that mutual interest in world peace was the common inspiration between the two nations.
