ROUGH PASSAGE.
SYDNEY, April 25. The Union Company’s trans-Tasman express liner A water arrived at 11.45 a.m. on Saturday lrom Auckland, and sailed at 9.12 p.m. for Wellington. She had a very rough passage from New Zealand. Her speed occasionally was reduced to 12 knots, but she averaged 1G during the worst phase of the trip. The ship came through unscathed.
The Awatea was scheduled to arrive at Sydney early on Saturday morning.
