HEADLESS GHOST.
VILLAGE TERRIFIED. PARIS, April 8. The headless ghost of a guillotined murderer, executed two months ago. is terrifying the village of St. Auvent, near Limoges. , The widow and two children ol the murderer reported hearing eerie noises, including knocks, loud stamping, an< a rattle of chains coming from ticgarret between 9 p.m. and midnight 1,1 Armed police kept a vigil and heard the noises, which ceased when the police investigated and recommenced when the search ceased. . It is stated that the noises have been less violent since Holy Watei was sprinkled in the garret.
