(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUNNYTHORPK, April 9. At the monthly mooting of the School Committee Ale-firs l l '. McKenzie (chairman), O. Jackson, W. T. -Maxwell, and W. Andrew were present. The headmaster (Mr Abraham) reported that the number on fho roll was 95 and the average attendance 90. It was decided to join the Munawutu and Oromi School Committees’ Association, and ]NJ r F. McKenzie was appointed to represent the school. Mr Abraham was appointed to represent the school on the Mi!k-in-Schools Committee. It was decided to carry out the work of levelling the lawns. Mr K. 11. Lange recently visited the school and inspected the garden plots. A report was received from the IV angantti Education Board regarding transport to Feilding for boys (woodwork) and girls (cookery) for instruction. The visiting committee's report wus received and Mr McKenzie was appointed visitor for the month. . . The Anglican Church Ladies’ Guild Held a social afternoon on Wednesday.. On Thursday morning a surprise function took place in the Glaxo factory, when the suppliers and staff gathered to show their regard for Mr 11. Scott,. who has been employed on the milk receiving stage during the past thirteen yearn and has been closely associated with tho suppliers. For heaith reasons he Jins been given a position inside the factory. Mr Scott has carried out his duties faithfully to . tho company, and has always given consideration to tho suppliers, being obliging and trustworthy. Mr J. VV. Clcvoly (chairman of the suppliers' committee) presided and referred to the esteem in which Mr Scott is held. He wished Mr Scott and his wife health and good fortune. Air It. James supplemented Mr Clevely’s remarks and referred to the tact, shown by Air Scott. Air J. Itoberlson, late manager of the factory, expressed pleasure at receiving an invitation to be present, and as one who bad worked with Mr Scott during the past 35 years, said ho had always found in Air Scott’ one who could bo trusted.
