NATIONAL PR USER VATION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 30. Tilt ways and means to secure the preservation of the Dominion s native. Push, the beautification of the highways, and allied subjects will be discussed at a national conference of all interests to be held at Parliament House on Friday morning next. The conference, which is the result, of unceasing effort on the part of the Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon. W. E. Parry) to have plans laid for keeping intact for the people New Zealand’s native trees and ferns, will be presided over by the Governor-Gen-eral (Viscount Galway). Mr Parry said to-day that it was likely the conference would be representative of all the principal parts of New Zealand. In addition to His Excellency as chairman. Hon. F. Langstone and himself would address the conference.
