RESIGNING FROM OFFICE. LONDON, March 28. Air James Maxton, M.P., has announced his intention of resigning the chairmanship of the Independent Lahour Party at the end of the financial year, after 10 years’ occupancy ot the position. A member of Parliament for the Bn'dgetoll division of Glasgow since 1922.
