QUEEN REMEMBERED.
PRINCESSES SANG-IN PUBLIC. “It is rather a long time since we last met,” said Queen Elizabeth when shaking hands with Mrs Newber, attendant at the Lyceum Theatre. London, who was there when the Queen and the Princesses visited the theatre two years ago to see a "Puss in Boots” pantomime. They entered by a side door and the audience did not see them tor a few minutes, but then the show wa.s held up, as everyone cheered. Both Princesses joined enthusiastically in the singing of “Daisy, Daisy” and “Pack Up Your Troubles,” and the Royal party waited for the harlequinade at the end. After the traditional ceremony or pulling a large cracker, a clown threw small ones into the Royal box. The Princesses caught several, which they still clutched proudly ns they waved to the cheering audience as they departed.
