Visiting Wellington for the biennial congress of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association are Dr. E. Denny Gillies, Dr. and Mrs J. S. Monro, Mr D. S. Wylie, F.R.C.S., and Mrs Wylie, Dr. H. J. C. Durward and Dr. P. T. Putnam, of Palmerston North.

On a month’s furlough, Lord Ranfurly, aide-de-camp to the GovernorGeneral of Australia, Lord Gowrie, and a grandson of the late Lord Ranfurly, a former Governor-General of New Zealand, arrived from Sydney yesterday for a holiday in the Dominion. Among the passengers who arrived at Wellington yesterday were a number of delegates to the Rotary conference which is to be held next month. These included Mr Yozo Nomura, of Yokohama, who will represent seventydistricts covering Japan, Korea and Manchuria, and Dr. K. S. Inui, who is to represent China.
