OBITUARY.

MR H. G. MINSON

The death occurred suddenly, on Saturday, at Palmerston North, of Mr Henry George Minson, a well-known settler of AYaituna West. Mr Minson had recently recovered from a serious illness and had been ordered a complete rest. He came to live in Feilding and on Saturday morning journeyed to Palmerston North, where he suffered a stroke and passed away. For many years Mr Minson conducted the coach service between Feilding and AVaituna, and was a well-known figure in the district. He was born in England and came to New Zealand 44 years ago. After conducting the mail and coach business for many years, he took up farming until ill-health obliged a cessation of all activity. His wife predeceased him some three or four years ago, and there is left to mourn his passing an only, daughter, Miss Katie Minson, who resides at Waituna.
