General von Blonibcrg, opening the way for the commemoration service in the -Opera House in the presence of Herr Hitler and members of the Cabinet, delcared that the Versailles Treaty had been wiped out, but he gave a pledge that Germany did not tiireaten danger to any nation. She held out her hand to tier neighbours for reconciliation . Herr Hitler, after the service, placed a wreath to the War dead in the tomb in the Unter Den Linden.
