LONG TERM OF SERVICE.

MR 11. D. BRANDT. That the services of Mr H. D. Brandt should be recognised was a suggestion made at the meeting of the Feilding A. and P. Association, on Friday, by Mr H. A. Stewart. The suggestion was wholeheartedly supported by the president (Mr H. J. Lancaster) and Messrs N. J. Short, F. J. Boddy and B. McLeod. It was pointed out by the speakers that Mr Brandt had rendered his services will ingly to the association for the past 21 years, during which lengthy term lie had been a very active member. At every Show for the past 20 years Mr Brandt had been on duty, and his ability in assisting with live stock entries was unsurpassed. The members decided to arrange for a presentation to be made to Mr Brandt at the next meeting of the association. The president added that the highest praise was due to Mr Brandt, nnd he looked forward to the function at which an opportunity of recognising his services in a fitting maner would be possible. Mr Brandt's record was a noteworthy one, concluded Mr Lancaster. Members unanimously concurred with the remarks made by the president and the other speakers.
