MINISTERS IN SOUTH.

Per Press Association. PEMBROKE, Feb. 21. The Minister of Public Works, (Hon. It. Semple) spent the week-end at Pembroke. He inspected the Haast Pass Road construction work yesterday, and will leave to-morrow tor ltanfurly to inspect the site of the proposed Maniototo irrigation scheme. The Minister of Mines (Hon. P. C. Webb) arrived in Pembroke yesterday from Queenstown, and will inspect gold mining areas in Central Otago before returning north on Tuesday. The Minister of Agriculture (Hon. W. Lee Martin) who is visiting Otago to inspect irrigation areas, spent yesterday at Pembroke. He will spend some days in Central Otago, and will leave Dunedin for Wellington on Saturday.
