MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

In the Magistrate’s Court, yesterday, before Mr J. L. Stout. S.M., Maxwell Albert Schiavi appeared .on the charge that, being a person excluded from the Awapuni racecourse, he did enter and remain on, such course on December 28, 1936, contrary to the regulations. The charge was laid under section 33 of the Gi.'Tng Act, 190 S. Accused pleaded guilty. Detective-Sergeant Rickerdike said accused appeared voluntarily. He freely admitted his offence, which had occurred while he was on holiday. A fine of £2, with costs, was .imposed.
