LIBERAL REJECTION.
POPULAR FRONT PLAN. Received February 2, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 1. The Liberal'Party has turned down the proposal for a Popular Front with the Labour Party, pointing out that the only way of realising it would be a deal about seats. The breakdown in the constituencies would lead to charges of gerrymandering. The Liberals, however, sympathise with the motives of the proposal and invite the sponsors to meet them to discuss ways of furthering common interests, for instance, peace and nutrition.
