The formation of miniature rifle clubs by students at German high schools has been approved by the Ministry of Education. The Railway Department announces tfie running of an excursion train to Wanganui and Now Plymouth from Wellington at 9.20 p.m. on Friday, February 5. arriving at Wanganui at 3.15 and at New Plymouth at 7.15 a.in. on Saturday. The return train leaves New Plymouth at 2.53 p.m. and Wanganui 6.35 p.m. (Sunday) arriving at Wellington 12.1 a.m. (Monday). The fares are at loss than £d per mile and seats may he reserved free.
