TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIP.

ADELAIDE, Jan. 28. After Lawn Derby had beaten Speedy Boy by. a head ill a division of the Trotting- Championship at Unioy, it was discovered to bo a lap short, and the race was ordered to be run again. All bets were declared off. In the second attempt Lawn Derby lost’ 50 yards at tho start and took fourth place, Kernel Lu beating Evicus by a length. Speedy Boy was third. Marble Bath won the Kerr Stakes, of 15 furlongs, and also beat Priiloe Dalla and Lady Childowood in the championship heat. Dan’s Son easily headed off Bedouin ■Lady in the other division. Marble Bath and 1 Lawn Derby may go near to securing tho final honour.
