GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF CANADA SIGNIFICANCE DISCERNED. OTTAWA, Jan. 27. It is announced that the GovernorGeneral of Ca.nada, (Lord Tweedsmuir) shortly after Ea6ter will pay a return call on President Roosevelt, who last summer visited him at Quebec. Lord Tweedsmuir will spend two days at White House, and will thus set a precedent as the first Canadian Governor-General to pay an official visit to the head of the American Government.

The visit is .hailed as of international significance and another indication of the friendliest relations in the history of neighbour nations.
