POST OFFICE BUSINESS. ALL-ROUND INCREASE. Mi- J. B. Purcell, postmaster at Feilding, supplies the following statistics concerning business transacted over the past 12 months nt Feilding, with comparative figures for 1935 (1935 figures are shown in parentheses):— Daily postings of letters and postcards,'236s (2228); daily postings of circulars, packets and newspapers, 1524 (1448); parcels, daily average, 26 (9). Total telegrams for year, 39,820 (36,557). Telephone subscribers, 914 (880); outward toll calls, 129,174 (112,533). Radio licenses issued, 1203 (981). Motor vehicle registrations, 1922 (1813).
