(From Our Own Correspondent.) POHANGINA, Jan. 28. A tennis team from Aokaulere visited Pohangina and played a match against the local team, the tinal scores of 9 sets and 74 games to 7 sots and 72 games being in i J ohangina’s favour. Detai.s of the scoring are as follow, Pohangina players being named first:—Men’s singles : W. Smart boat J. Woodly, 6—5; F. Roberts boat W. Anderson, junr., 6—5; 11. Moar beat F. Judd, 6—2; I. Lepper boat W. Anderson, senr., 6 —4. Women’s singles: Miss M. Smart lost to Miss E. Anderson, 4—6; Misß J. Sinclair lost to Miss M. Anderson, 2—6; Miss J. Howell lost to Miss J. Anderson, 2—6; Miss N. Grover beat Mrs Craven, 6—3. Men’s doubles; W. Smart and H. Moar beat J. Woodley and Anderson, junr., 6—5; F. Roberts and I. Lepper lost to F.’ Judd and Anderson, senr., 5—6. Women’s doubles: Misses Smart and Sinclair beat Misses E. and M. Anderson, 6—5; Misses Howell and Grover lost to Misa J. Anderon and Mrs Craven, 2 6. Mixed doubles: Smart and Miss Smart beat Woodley and Miss E. Andorson, 6—5; Roberts and Miss Sinclair lost to Anderson, junr., and Miss M. Anderson, 5—6; Moar and Miss Grovor lost to Judd and Miss J.
