ENGINEERING FEAT.

BEN NEVIS TUNNEL. (British Official AVireless.) Received January 26, 11.25 a.m. RUGBY, Jan. 25. The construction of a five-mile tunnel through Ben Nevis, between Loch Garry and Loch Ericht, in Perthshire (Scotland), for the Grampian electricity scheme is nearing completion. AVork has been in operation for two years. The engineers are of the opinion that the 9ft diameter openings which are being driven simultaneously from each end will hot be a fraction of an inch out when they will meet in June.
