INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
FRESH CASE IN SOUTH. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Jan. '25. A positive infantile paralysis case, that of a 14-years-old boy of Luggate, was admitted to hospital at Clyde yesterday. DEATH AT OAMARU. Per Press Association. OAMARU, Jan. 25. The youth, aged 19, who was admitted to the Oamaru Hospital from Kauru Hill last Thursday, died last evening from infantile paralysis. PICTON CASE NEGATIVE. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Jan. 25. Advice received by the "Wellington health authorities states that the case of a boy aged 6, who was admitted to the Picton Hospital as an infantile paralysis suspect, has been diagnosed as negative, consequently the quarantine restrictions on the boy’s family and others having contact with him have been removed.
